Here is Danny Way jumping the GREAT WALL on a Sk8 board ! not only does he do it on his 2nd try ....................... he 360's it on his third!

well that's probably from some special ramp / pipe deal like he used there.

i remember hosoi back in 86 or so making 13" on a regular 1/2 pipe, and taking the record. was the cover of thrasher magazine IIRC ; )

now you got me googling all that old skater crap LMAO. i was so into it for about 3 years, then i got a license, and could drive ; ) LOL

i love skating

my old roomate Naoh Salasnek is a world class skateboarder an dsnowboarder.

Danny Way used to stay at our house when we were in Truckee, LAke Tahoe.

The guy is truly a class act. He knows and understands how lucky he is to be where he is..BUT!!..the guy is so frikn baddddddazzz

Im a good skater and snowboarder..but to ride with these guys on a daily basis..You can see what seperates Pro riders from the rest...The physical ability to whip your body around in zero gravity is..well amazing.

For awhiel I lived in Sacramento, John Cardiel ssister used to hnag out with hasoi for awhile..Noah owned a skate park..Indoor in West Sac.. It had a huge half pipe..mini ramps..street course..and then it had a Huge Wooden Kidnye shaped Pool/Bowl

So Hasoi was hangn out in Sac for about a week or two....WOWOMFG..U shoudl of seen that guy skating ...INSANE..I wish i could describe the off the wall stuff he was doing..and thsi was in the late 90's...

we did many drugs and alchol together...that guy would be HAMMERED..and ripping so HARD...really unbeleivable talent

whats sad is Hasoi i think is still in jail in hawaii..he got in trouble with alot of bad drugs..very sad

but D Way..he is a frikn STOMPER...You see how big hes going on a a skateboard?..arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

LOL i know how ya feel Greencloud.

I used to skate with Andy McDonald at a park inMichigan befor he was pro. TOTALLY a reall good guy all the way around! Sincere Genuine reall nice guy! He would shread the place and take time to hang out with the lil guys teaching how to do tricks!

I was on a plane from Detroit to San Diego this spring and out of the blue there he was, we said hi like old brothers and carried on for a few (mind you i havent seen him since i was like 20 - im 33 now) so 13 yrs but he remembered me and I him.

Now the other side of stuff like the drugs head tearingit up! I saw Reese Simpson on 4 hits of acid doing things that blew my mind! (and i was Strait edge at the time). Several other pros came thru the area too. + good old Bill Danforth. ............. that dud is sooo OLD SCHOOL and still shreads!

i was just reading... heard he's out and making a "comeback"

i never got good, or skated with anyone really good, but it was fun, and i tried LOL

i would love to see those "old school" guys just do like a TV special or something, all skating for fun, rippin it up.
