An Apology
« on: July 11, 2005, 12:35:14 AM »
Folks,

I wish to publicly apologise to Raynor for my unprofessional demenor.

Sir, I perhaps misunderstood, or, took too personally your response to my continued requests of Rook intentions at A79 on the FRAC 3 map.

While flying in support of Rook efforts (at A66 to A79), my squad, VMF-158, The Green Mountain Boys (with only three of us up), did fly individual heavy F4U-1D's and did proceed to deny the Knights Troops, Radar, and Ordnance at the following locations: A72, A76, A77, A78, A79, A80, A81, A82, and A88.

Each of us flew to a specific field knowing that our fuel would be low if we survived the mission...but we flew the missions, several times over...in support of the Rook operations...and we died, many times.

I regret you lost some C47s...

I give you credit for apologizing. .
I don't know what it was about, but there are far too few people willing to admit mistakes.

And remember it's just a game

Sounds like a General problem to me. Dang, you guys really killed some toolsheds!

I love the guys that relentlessly fly in C47's and get p.o.'d.

Here's a clue: they're fat, slow and unarmed - everybody hates them. You're gonna die ALOT unless the nme is field capped or engaged far away from your filght path.

Me killum many goony bird that thought he had protection around him (and had it too!)
