No. Because I'm usually looking at more than one plane. I guess it might work 1 vs 1.

No, padlock = very bad for SA.

Much better to learn to fly looking out any view so you can keep your eye on him.

padlock is a no no if ya wanna survive in a target rich enviroment.  try keeping track of 3-5 nmes while in padlock ....
