I hear alot of his kinda music on the cable shows.  FX Showtime, HBO.  Not as intro music but like credit and transition music and such.  I'm not sure how you break into that kinda market.  I bet you gotta have an agent and a label first.

how long has he been playing?....he's really talented with the guitar!

my wife wanted me to download muskrat madrigal for the next CD that I burn for her.

tell him from me to stick with it.  If he enjoys what he does never give it up.  :aok

PS:

Newbie,

How did he record those songs...actual studio or home PC?

Well interesting thing is - he has only been playing guitar for about a year now, has been playing piano since 5 years old, so his musical abilities are well enhanced due to the piano experience.
He had been doing lead singer for a ska/punk band, but the band broke up and he decided to switch directions and picked up the guitar..
Lots my friends really like that song too, also the Lakeshore drive one, he did a show last weekend - actually was one of like 8 people who did an acoustic music fest in Elkhart lake WI, he got lots of accolades at that show being a relative newcomer to the scene, he now has several bookings as an opening act for a few big names in the midwest, so he is excited..
He records all his songs on the pc in his bedroom :)
Amazing the software thats out there now..
Thanx for your compliments, but it is all his mom, she made him take piano lessons, lol
I played in a college band, but this kid is doing all the things I never had the guts to try, so, I'm proud that he takes the initiative..
