Looks like M$ should make only games

We we're having a LAN-party today; twelwe hours of almost non-stop playing (Well you need to eat and tweak your comp   )
After DeltaForce3 and MechWarrior4 we took a small session with Crimson Skies (That was fun!) and maybe in next LAN's we could try Jane's WW2 fighters or EAW...
You know, small steps at a time and maybe one day those guys might found real flight-sims fascinating

Edit: That article was in Gamespy.com, Link was in DF....

Uh, I'm still waiting to see a microsoft product I'd like.. After all the years of using W9x I've got used to it, but I still don't like it.

What comes to m$ games, crimson skies is crap (story line + voice acting is great, but game itself sucks and eats ram like crazy)

CFS2 with 1.9 patch looks pretty but again eats a huge amount of ram and the AI is dumber than dumb, I get ace scores in a  bomber versus fighters. The flight model is different from any I've tried, can't say if its better or worse. Damage modeling sucks since you lose lift from wings which show nothing but a couple small holes + working ailerons.. Damage sure does LOOK nice.

The games I've tried so far can only be described with one word: bulky. Just as Winxxx is =)

i was sooooo waiting for fs2000 pro to come out based on my love of fs98.

when it did come out i was really in denial trying for about 3mos to get it to run on my machine. you need a cray to get decent frame rates and the flight models suck - otherwise it would be awesome. i am interested to see how they did on the new one - anyone seen ms train simulator? looks pretty cool
