Looks like the city of Columbus doesn't give a rats patuee about it's citizens rights as Americans.  Yet again, they try t violate rights, and like the last two times they will be beaten again for violating the constitution.

It seems to me that something needs to be done about states violating federal rights.  Enough is enough.

1861 called, it wants its mandate back.

The convention was expected to generate $15 million to $20 million for city businesses, but other groups have shown interest in meeting in the city the week the NRA was to have its meeting, said Paul Astleford, president of the city's convention and visitors bureau.

BS.

I've been dying to see the first violent reaction to someone banning guns.

As a matter of fact, it's almost a wet dream of mine.

Revolution, man.  I'm talking about a revolution.

Amendment X

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

Almost everyone goes running to the second ammendment.  This is the ammendment though, that says that the states CAN NOT **** WITH THE CONSTITUTION.

The latest law attempts to avoid that by spelling out a distinction between legal sporting weapons and military-style assault weapons.

here's what I don't understand.  There's nothing in the second amendment that mention's hunting.....it's not about sport weapons its about protection from tyrany and oppression.

I guess it would be ok if this city council just wittled away a bit at the 4th amendment for the sake of "crime"?

honestly! what the hell would you use an assault rifle for? you cant use it for self defence on the street because it is too bulky. you cant use it for home defence because it is not good for confined spaces. FOR ONCE!! JUST ****ING ADMIT THAT THE ONLY REASON YOU WANT ASSAULT RIFLES IS BECASE THEY ARE COOL!!!!!

While the M-4 traverses like a charm, the area BEHIND the intruder leaves ALOT of room for others to get hurt.

Self Defense?  The human knee need only 8 lbs of pressure to break.  However, giving the perp a rifle butt is effective as well.
