DamnedRen, that is the type of response I was looking for and would expect from a "mature" forum.  Thank you.  I guess what I personally am looking for in the game is just what you described used to be.   The point of my initial post was to seek those bish players and squads interested in trying it together as a "team".

I recieved that response from Nightshift82 and will look for them next time Im online and try and hash stuff out.  Hopefully by then there will have been others of similar desires that have responded.

Don't limit yourself to one other squad. There's lots of them out there that would like to team up for some common goal other than a couple of base captures. Take the bull by the horns and start conversations with those other squads. It's easy to find out who the suqad leaders are in your country. Shoot em emails, etc.

It's not a great idea to bring it to the boards. Why would you want to telegraph you're thoughts and ideas to the other two countries? Seeing as how this is a sim that takes WW2 type flying into play think about this...."Loose lips, sink ships".

What happened to the "damm the torpedos, full speed ahead" attitude?

Oh, maybe thats just the Knight admirals I'm thinking of, we could send you a few.

Seriously, numbers ebb and flow, it'll change back.

Geez, seems like the bish won a few not too long ago.

Anywhere to get stats on resets?

Also, maybe it's the time your flying, it seems that sometimes the countries get aligned a little on time zones?

As a squad, it's fun to switch around from time to time, go fly with the guys you're used to shooting down and shoot down the guys you're used to flying with, can't really blame anyone for that.

I'm, sure that any form of social engineering by HT would be a disaster, ENY is already trouble enough, but it is a well thought out balancer and is somewhat effective.  I doubt the game needs any form of virtual socialism to make it better, it would probably be detrimental.  Coadism = Marxism = set my people free!

I am not complaining bout the numbers.  I have heard complaints about it and am looking for sensible solutions from Bish.  As far as telegraphing what might happen on the BBs I dont see that as an issue.  Once interest is shown then arrangements can be made privately.

The Bish have won resets and yes the numbers ebb and flow.  I know nothing new is presented here.  To me the quickest way to make contact with those interested is on the BBs.  After that other forms of communication will take place.

Thanks for the responses.

I'll point out something we Bish keep doing thats kicking us in the ass...... the enemy will send in 3 or 4 fighters into our base. now all of a sudden everyone who had alt comes screaming down and we have everyone chasing these 3-4 planes.  Then over the radio you here "B17's from the west" "lancs from the "east"

Now everybody is 1000 ft of the deck and we have no chance of reaching the bombers who blow up our hangers. Now comes the enemy horde to clean up.

I've seen it so much lately i can set my watch on the when the bombers are coming.

suggestion... some of us need to stay high and wait for the buffs and let the low alt guys handle the 1st wave of fighters.

Just my observations

I agree with ya elyeh, its not like there is a lack of targets to deal with.  Its possible that the reason that happens is a limited amount of online time that creates the instant gratification mentatlity, or its just the way they want to play.  In that case, its their dime and they can spend it the way the want.

With some agreed coordination, however, that scenario may be a little more difficult to play out.  That brings us back to the original intention of the initial post.  Thanks for responding.

Muttman,

The SE's were all about joint ops when we were Bish.  We always tried to join up with the 31st Bomber Barons.   We did alot of joint missions together and the cohesiveness worked out very well between the 2 squads.   You may want to get with those guys and see if they would like to join your squad on a joint op.

hey mutt

the BoPs are always  happy to run with others..we are a large squad so often we run self contained so as not to disrupt other bush from where they are.

the problem i see is this mutt....true when som esquads are working well together we can accomplish most things....but you like i work and probably need evenings to our family etc etc.

need some ideas that can work as to how to organize even when the main guys arent on.

Falconwing,

Thank you sir!

I do honestly miss flying for the Bishops.   Right now, we are having a great time over on the Knight side.     Things change so you never know if we will come back Bish or not.       I know one thing tho if we do change again it won't be Rooks.    We got a very cold reception when we went rook.    Matter of fact we were told to leave and go back Knits.

Once again thank you for the kind words.
