Sisters Injured in London Bombing Going Home
« on: July 22, 2005, 05:24:33 PM »
Good news in the middle of bad news...

The Benton sisters who were badly wounded in the 7/7 Bomb attacks (both suffered permanently crippling injuries) are headed home to Knoxville from Duke Medical. I just watched the video of their press conference and was amazed and heartened at their great spirit in spite of coming through a horrific and lifechanging  ordeal.

The conference is slow, and some of the reporters questions are frankly stupid (so what's new) but I think you'll find the attitude of these young women to be both humble and courageous and a wonderful contrast to the attitude of the men who blew them up:

PS: If you don't listen to any other part of the Video listen to the segment starting at 7:22 into the video.
