I can't remember If I asked this before or not, but I wonder what the difference between spring tabbed airalons & flettner tabs are. Springs I suppose. Looking for more detailed mechanical explanation though.

Try to locate NACAs 868 report on the NACA server, it`s 'summary of lateral research' or stg like that. It explains it in depth.

OK, or aye kay as they say in Australia. I know the Flettner tab was a german invention, named after it's inventor.
