Rather scarce on lyrics aren't they. It seemed to be virtually the same 2 or 3 lines repeated over and over to a sound track from a commercial.

Anyone got a translation to the chorus (majority of the song)?

In 1980 this song was played from every open window in Leningrad, at least at the district where I lived.

An outrageous example of piracy :D: everyone had an illegal copy on tape, their records were never officially released in USSR for obvious reasons.
