since the ct is dead most of the time ...never more than 20 ive ever seen in there so it dead to me
why not run aces high 1 as a suttle passtime a free fly if ya will
no scores etc.
just a place were ole timers can play the game that started it all

i choose to delete ct because
1 its dead
2 waste of server memory
3 we have sea for special battles already
so in my eyes ct is pointless
i personaly would love to fly ah1 once in awhile dont need updates either just run the  last version
i myself still play european air war .....lol
well im sure ill get flame from jg54 but im expecting it cuz they the only 1 whom uses it

btw if you want to delete an arena think you might want to start with the DA. Atlease the CT has fights in it all the DA is, is just a vulch/dweeb/spitfest. I havent seen a "duel" in there in ages.

Heres a flame check the fricking score page for the CT there alittle bit more then 8 ppl who fly the CT.


primetime for the MA maby but not for the CT. But you wouldnt know anything about it would you. Tuesday and Thursday nights.

Like I said before you know nothing about the CT and is shows. SEA is for missions. CT is for histoical game play around the clock and if you play the CT then a thing you do sometimes to get a fight in there is go in go afk and go eat or something and check back every few mins. When other CT members see someones in there they go check it out. Then more ppl come in and after a while you have 10-15 ppl in there and thats all you need to have a good fight. CT is for fun historical dogfights not big MA hords or huge furballs. Some of the best fights ever were in the ct with less then 5 ppl on. So dont worry about if the CT has low numbers because most of us like it that way. CT is like a small town where everyone knows eachother, we may not agree on everything but we like fighting agenst eachother all the time. You fly agenst the same ppl you know who your fighting in the first min. of a fight.

forget about closing ct focus on ah1 and being able to play it?

Close off the MA and BMA for a night and you'll see people doing CT all the time.

Hijacker he may be but at least he isnt using personal attacks.  I predict your thread will be closed by tomrrow morning for "flame bait" (you even said at the beginning you were waiting for it), and then you started with the personal attacks.  Your criticism has been noted.  If you really feel its a good idea and want to avoid a flame war, why didnt you just email the idea to HT or Pyro?  Looks to me like you just wanted to stir up trouble, not help.

AH1 is dead and gone.
AH2 is much better.

Why would anybody want to go back to AH1 ?

As for EAW yes it was a fun game, but i left it to fly AH in beta because i wanted a new challenge.

Guess your into the nostalgia thing more than most.

However it would be wise to not wear shorts to work carrying a lunchbox containing an apple for teacher, that may stretch the nostalgia theme a bit too much

A little story...

There are plenty of systems out there that can't run AH2. And, when AH1 was shut down, I offered to host it on my servers, charge the $14.95 a month and split it with HT. No support, no source code, just host the game so lesser systems could still play.

The basic reply I got was a purchase price for the game and I couldn't afford even a tenth of what was wanted.

Moral of the story.... Kiss AH1 goodbye, it ain't happening.

You guys just don't understand the CT. I don't go there much anymore but I used to all the time, and from experience I can tell you that...

When you log on and see only 8 people in there that means there is a 4 v 4 slugfest going on between the 2 closest bases, and like mentioned above some awsome fights have happend with less people.

The next time you see a few guys in the CT fly in there for a while I'm positive you will have a good time.
