Is there a reason this feature is disabled?

To keep you from getting angry and using nasty words where none of the rest of us can see it.  You either say it in front of everyone, or you dont say it.  At least I assume that there was some similar idea behind it.

? No such thing.  I don't allow any of this silly BBS or in-game to affect my persona.  I just think it would be useful to be able to PM a squaddie, or one of these guys you are actually trying to meet in real life(sans the fists and temper).  If anything you could limit it to those in your squadron?  Use the roster that the CO uses for the forums?  *shrug*

EDIT: I assume you were talking about the idea of disabling the feature StarofAfrica and not at my reason for posting.  I agree with you in that case.

I think it's disappointing PM is turned off. Unless Pyro, Hitech, and Skuzzy would hate the thought of all those PM's in their inbox.... :D (which is probably why it's off).

But for the rest of us blokes, it would be sweet to drop Yeager, Slash, or Brady a PM note once in a while.

Then there's my favorite PM receiver, Shane. ;)
