Have you tried turning down your sound exceperation a notch ??

this is looking like a driver/sound issue to me .

post up the 1st 1/3rd of your dxdiag and lets look it over ... maybe one of us can catch it from there .

Stone have you tried not playing?

See if it does. If it does then i'm thinking graphics card. I was having a problem where my card was stuck in a loop or something like that. (graphic driver problem) Just reinstall your video card driver.

Ok, the sound card driver is now update, I let you know if my PC crashes again. (It did not do it allways, so time will tell)

Thats the same driver I use for my SBLive! 5.1 card.  Wonder if it makes a difference that his card is an Audigy.

some sound cards are just like video cards and can use the same ole same ole ..
