The only thing that got killed were the defenseless c47's and bombers. That combined to many jabos being forced to dump ords and chase the attackers made the whole mission worthless. The losses themselves were nothing to gripe about. We were all dumbfounded of the sheer gush of lameness of the attack. When we realised what happened, it killed the spirit totally - at least for me.
Just like facing hackers in a fps game, facing cheating in MA kills the fun.
And btw ack-ack the mission was not a milkrun. Milkruns are a bish trademark, they do nothing better than that.
