Did this happen with the new patch or have I just not had a chance to land in a long while. I usually just slide in like a bad out of hell because it is quicker than using gear as the breaks suck. It seems to take too long..... so Belly land!
Is it so the ditches are cut down or what?

Bring back 250mph Belly Landing!!

yes, they eliminated the hard belly landings. Use gear now

Belly landing is still quicker. Course if you land too hard, its a whole lot quicker.

whats the airspeed cut point? originally it was 150..

I am pretty sure it's not tied to airspeed, but to climb/sink rate, too much and boom

I have not done a study of the actual rates that are survivable yet...

before they loosened it way up you blew up at above 150 or almost no matter what.. Just wondering what the danger point is now..

I've done several belly landings as of late .. some at about 200+ and some at 100+.. it sure aint like the good ol days

my technic has had to be changed somewhat, but in the heat of the moment .... ya do what ya have to do.. eh? oh yah!!!
