Need Advice: SPAM Problem
« on: July 30, 2005, 03:55:03 PM »
My Stepdad messed up and got himself added to some nasty SPAM list...and now finds himself suddenly receiving 40 to 50 emails a day.  It's been a while since I've had to deal with this myself, so I don't know what the latest and greatest tools are to combat this.

Whatever it is, it needs to be relatively simple to configure, as he is in Wisconsin and I'm in Oregon.

He uses Outlook, and a change in email client would probably be out of the question.  Changing email addresses is probably out of the question too, but will probably be the last resort.

There was one program I remember that actually deletes the SPAM and then sends a psuedo-bounced email notification to the sender indicating that the email addy is no longer valid...but I can't remember what the name was.

Any advice would be appreciated...thx!

How DARE you make accusations like that and defame my character!  I'm horribly offended.  Besides, I only ever remember doing that to FunkedUp. :D

i thought the sexchange was a little over the top, despite his desire to please lesbians.
