Drink ideas
« on: August 01, 2005, 06:46:22 PM »
Tommorrow, being Bumba's B-day, I wish to drink myself silly. I need some drink ideas, and recipes.

I'd like to make some sangria for the chicks, if someone has a good recipe.

I'm also making my peach cooler:

1    mickey peach schnapps
1    liter white wine
1.5 cans of ginger ale
couple slices of peeled peaches
2 lemon slices

Pour over ice and add club soda per taste each glass.

I have lotsa vodkas, could use some good vodka ideas. I'm hoping for a bottle of Monte Alban, but looks like my pal is still in the states, so I'll have to buy some Jose.

What'd you drink on your B-day this year?

Well thanks for the info in advance and bottoms up.
I used to be a fatalist,
but that part of me died.

Mix equal parts and slam the shot

Yeagermeister
Goldschlager
Bacardi 151
Rumple Mints

Even though its hot outside it is a good shot to take in the winter when its cold outside.

Yeah.

Usually at these blender-type drink get togethers, if you whip up all this cooler peach tasting stuff people forget what they are doing. There's about an hour window of fun then the girls start fading, puking, passing out.

Mix in some red bull and y'all be like coke fiends; staying up later, talking yer tulips off and having a way better time.

Ingredients:
Bottle of Vodka
Watermelon

You cut a hole into a watermelon, then try and pour vodka into it somehow.  After like an ounce or so, it starts pouring out.  You spend about 5-10 minutes trying to figure out how people get the vodka in the watermelon until finally you give up, then just drinking the vodka and throwing the watermelon at a car off the overpass.

I can drink a disturbing amount of vodka if I'm having Red Bull with it.  It's just a matter of time until I end up coming to you and Lazs for advice.

3 parts Warsteiner or similar crappy German no-malt.
3  parts 94-proof London gin
1 part Lephroaig Single Islay Malt (A) gives the mixture a peaty taste reminiscent of kerosene B) compensates for the lack of malt C) reminds everyone that no drink is without sacrifice). Lephroiag can only be replaced with a younger Islay malt.
1 part V-8 tomato juice
=
"The V-1 Buzz-Bomb"

2 parts Vodka
1 part Orval Trappist Beer (necessary for its unique take on carbonation)
1 part V-8 tomato juice
=
"The V-2 Rocket"
