Have you seen something I missed?  I didn't know that we already knew what (if any) new spit models were coming?

I should probably check the news forum before posting this...  But, I'd rather just dweeb it up

TA152    5perks
F4UC    12
SpitXIV  15
F4U4  20
Tempest  50
Tiger   50
ME163  50
AR234  60
ME262  200

THINK that's correct.  Was at a 1.01 perk modifier when I got the listing.  so give / take a perk, that's correct.

I object to that.  The Mossie is a fighter, one in which I have been more successful than not.

It isn't the best fighter by any means, but it is a fighter.

This is probably why HTC hasn't done it, he doesn't want to lose the revenue of their 15 bucks a month. "Dead dweebs don't pay"

Kind of a sad comment. At least they are up there, mixing it up instead of sitting in an osty or field gun like some lamers.

The new perk values are proof that HTC listens to reason. (Albeit, over a course of a long, long time :D )

I still think F4U-4 and Spit14 should be fully open to competition against La-7s and other super performing free planes as a totally free plane...

...but, I'm satisfied for now. :)

 Kudos to HT and Pyro!

Totally bad idea that they brought the Spit 14 cost that far down.

Why?

It was seeing next to no use, which means it was way overpriced.

I flew a couple sorties in it tonight.  Was closing on another Spit XIV when a ship gunner took me out the first one.  Second one I bagged two Tiffies.  It is definately more powerful than other Spitfires, but......

Man does it feel heavy.  It feel unstable and difficult to control.  I have been flying the Ki-84 lately and it is vastly more manueverable and much more stable as well.  The Spit XIV is very prone to snap rolls, which are easy to recover from, but there is no sensation of smootly flying a line.  It felt like I had to struggle to keep it on the line I wanted at all times.

In many ways the Ki-84 is superior.

Those kind of people are part of the reason I enjoy getting in Ostwind, to shoot them down. ;)
