I'm moving to Houston, I promized you pics from the B25 some time ago.

I have yet to have my digital camera returned, in the meantime the cellphone's camera will do the trick. This mama is big (check the car in the background as a reference) compared with the other B25 we have.

Dat jugs bro.

LOL! I'd crash it in 20 seconds most likely.

Had a buddy in UPT. As stress relief, he built up an RC C-172 or something from a kit. Took him half of T-37 training and most of T-38 training to get it finished.

He took it out, launched it and logged about 27 seconds of actual flight time before it crashed and was smashed to flinders.

:)

That'd be me with that B-25. Shore is purty tho..........

bah. yer a pilot.. the hard part's over. Training is easy.. R/C simulators cure control reversal issues and hands-on with a buddy box solves the up close and personal bit.

Just think of the immense smile on yer dads face when he see's it taxi by... ;)

You should have seen the immense smile on his face the day we got him some right seat stick time in the Klaers "In The Mood".

There was a place here in Houston a few months back that had a B-25 scale R/C model for sale with servos and engines and all for $550-600.  Just add radio.  Last time I drove thru there though the whole place was shut down....I guess they went out of business.

Did I read you right Frenchy?  You are moving to Houston?  When will you arrive and what will you be doing when you do get here?

They both trade off camping in my L21 during the winter. They kinda like it, and don't chew on anything. Dark and cozy in there. Kinda cute when a head pops up in the cockpit. First flight of the season is always a pisser.. cat hair blowing everywhere.

The love affair with the winter digs would be over the moment the engine started.. then the lil bastidges would no doubt destroy the damn thing in a mad panic to get out.

I can think of no better thing to drop from the belly of  a B-25 than cats, although I prefer the catapult to launch all cats into the sun.

No no no no, you gotta know your animal to pick the right tranquilizer.

For cats, simply take advantage of their weakness and serve...  Bailey's Irish Creme.
