Two years ago I was driving down I-26 towards Charleston, S.C. when this car came up next to me with the driver pointing what looked like a 9mm at my truck.  The driver seemed to have this angry look on his face, don't know who it was.  I remember one of the Death Row inmates at the prison I work at would smile as he was stabing someone which was very intimidating to his opponent.  So I reach below my seat and pulled out my 44Mag, Model 29 S&W and showed it to him as I was smiling.  needless to say the guy put down the 9mm and sped away as fast as he could.:)

If he was serious about doing u any wrong, you would have a bullet in ur head, and a 44 on ur lap. :( The guy already had the advantage, aiming at u from 10ft away.

This is why you shouldn't have a gun in the car!

Seems to me that would be just the opposite. The very reason TO have a gun in the car. Then the guy might of at least had a chance to protect himself. As it was he was just a target.

A fundamental tenet of liberty is the right to own what you want, not just what you minimally need.

Oh, and when I transport a sidearm in my car, it will either be locked in the trunk or on my person. It will not be under the seat or in the glove box.

anyone try the new fingerprint activated ones yet?

green..  have you tried the safariland speedloaders?  I like em a lot better.  You don't have to twist the knob (there is no knob) and the rounds are held tighter.  they won't come out till you push the speedloader halfway into the cylinder.

Lazs, you would actually rely on a piece of technology that may or may not like your fingerprint at any given time?
