Lord Guppy..need help!

Salute Lord Guppy,

I have identified a p47n that I would like to skin.  I have a bw in-flight picture of the right fusalage from the rear and can offer the following information:

P47N
Tail # (small print) 488119
(large print on tail and right fusalage nose) 19
Aircraft is bare metal with od on top forward section of fusalage
US Markings on right rear fusalage and left upper wing

Any help appreciated sir.

I imagine that this is the bird in question.  I doubt it would work in AH as it isn't a combat bird, but one flying out of Wright Field, Ohio in the US for testing.

I kinda like the nose art though

Rgr that Guppy!  That is the bird.  I couldnt make out the nose art in the pic I had found.  Disappointing that she wasnt combat as I loved the idea of an all aluminum skin (more or less) (

Anyway, I appreciate your efforts sir.  Do you have another suggestion?  All aluminum (or close to it?)

You are somewhat limited with the N as there weren't many groups flying it.

It does leave the possibilty for two from the same group however, and flying along with a wing with different nose art, but same squad markings might be fun
