saitec X45 and CH Pro Rudder pedals
« on: August 09, 2005, 03:52:03 PM »

Need some help here guys.

At boot up my computer sees the Saitec X45 and the the CH pedals in the control panel game devices but the CH pedals do not operate at all.

If I then unplug the CH pedals (USB) and then plug them back in, the system sees them and they operate just fine.

Basically I have to unplug and replug the CH in after every boot up.

The "computer gurus" (IT) at work don't have a clue.

My brother has the exact machine.  He does not have this problem.

The only thing I did diferent was to load the Saitec software before I plugged the CH pedals in.

And what the heck is the "Saitec Magic Bus" in my device manager?

I am new here.  Did AW back in the old days on genie and AOL.

Any ideas guys??????????????

Hi maque,

I have that same set-up.  The 'Magic Bus' and other magic stuff are the Saitek drivers to make the joystick act like a keyboard.  As for the pedals, have you gone into AH and set up the controls (I think that's the category)?  You have to indicate what the pedals control (rudder, brakes) and make sure everything else is asigned to the stick.
