Great links Wing!   I went to the Yankee Airforce airshow this past weekend in Michigan and the "Old Crow" the link spoke of as being located in America was one of the 51's there.

I been wondering about this for a long time. Couldnt some very wealthy people just rebuild some WW2 planes, or are the plans destroyed/classified?

A dive-bomber varient developed from P-51A/Mustang I. You can read about it here.

There is a company in Europe that is remaking the 190.

Don,t remeber the name though.
