Those same apply to Finland too. Not much "football" (more ice hockey, soccer etc), plenty of moonshine. English speaking people seem to get jobs as teachers.
The unemployment benefit here in Finland is around 400 euros per month minus taxes, leaving around 300 euros (~ $380), so you'd be better off working.
I don't know about the immigration options.. And the Finnish women aren't as famous as Swedish blondes (but we've got some nice ones here as well!). Maybe Sweden or Norway might fit the traditional Scandinavian image better.
