Frankly put I am tired of working, I was wondering if any of our Scandinvian posters could let me know about immigration options for N. Americans.

I hear you guys have good looking women , and social system that would make unemployment a real option.

Anything I could do to make my application better?

You might need to pick up a silly hat or two.

Horns on metal hats are not silly... in fact, they're pretty badass.

All you need is a clean police record, and a job that waits for you. You may need a few weeks in quarantene at the ariport kennel too.

Unemployment could be an option after you have worked for a few years and have been granted citizenship. You wont get enough to enjoy anything but enough for food and a place to live

;)

Are there any openings for people who speak "Southern Drawl" as teachers in the Norwegian or Swedish school systems? And what are your american football sports teams like? Do they have regular practices and like to beat up on the soccer players?

Also do you allow mobile homes with blocks under them and 5 old cars in the front lawn with three of them on blocks and the other two just sitting there with no body at all?

What about home made liquor....you know good old fashioned moonshine? Is it allowed in Norway or Sweden?

Cant speak for them dull sweedes but..

Many english schools here for forign kids with english as main language..

Only a few football teams, but yes.. they do like to beat up soccer dorks.

The mobile homes you mentioned are allowed some places but not recomended if you want to blend in or survive the winter.

Moonshine has been made here since pre-viking times so there are plenty around if you want that stuff.

Those same apply to Finland too. Not much "football" (more ice hockey, soccer etc), plenty of moonshine. English speaking people seem to get jobs as teachers.

The unemployment benefit here in Finland is around 400 euros per month minus taxes, leaving around 300 euros (~ $380), so you'd be better off working.

I don't know about the immigration options.. And the Finnish women aren't as famous as Swedish blondes (but we've got some nice ones here as well!). Maybe Sweden or Norway might fit the traditional Scandinavian image better. ;)

Do you have to like that lutefish stuff to become a citizen?

They prolly have some secret clause that says you have to cover your whole body in it  and run around naked.
