Which Anti virus program?
« on: August 12, 2005, 03:52:29 PM »
I currently have Norton's 2003.  No problems, but I wonder whether I should renew my subscription or upgrade to Norton's 2005 version?

I'm open to other products if anyone has had good experiences with them ... i.e., more effecient, more features, etc...

upgrade your sub
I have the Internet Norton Security and it does everything but if you have a firewall and control your email otherways, renewing your sub to 2003 gains you nothing as the same virus definition info is in both

AVG...its free, and it works without trying to take over every process on my system like norton (wants to be firewall/spam filter/spyware/and anti virus).....I prefer a program that does one thing and does it well.....and ya cant beat free.  Virus databases are updated daily too.
