I've just run into a problem I've never seen before. I can no longer open a .psp file I've been working on. What happened was, I did some work, saved the file, saved a copy in another location, then saved it as a .bmp to look at in the skin viewer, before closing PSP. This is my usual procedure. When I fired up PSP again and tried to open the file, the loading bar went all the way across, then the program beeped and a little box came up saying "Error opening file." And that was it. It happened both for the main copy and the backup copy I'd saved. All other .psp files on my system work just fine.

Anybody know a way to salvage this? Thanks in advance.

C'mon, someobody's gotta know how to hex the few bytes that have got me hosed here, right? It can't be that much wong with the file, because it acts like it's working fine, right until it's supposed to appear after the load bar goes all the way across and disappears.

can you send me a copy i'll try it:D Maybe just skin.

Save them in psd. i can save it as psd and send to you.

I'm not sure of what the problem could be. If you don't mind sending me the copies, I'll be more than happy to test them to see if there is indeed a corrupt file or something of the sort.

Perhaps when you converted to BMP it did something.

I'll take a look at it tonight and see if I can find anything if you don't mind my asking.

how big is the file??
i know my passion wagon psd is about 100 mb. send us a file and well see what happens.
