The Monty Python thread got me thinking about my favorite movie quote of all time.  That's a pretty tough one, because there are so many that great in their own way.  I then got to thinking about what line I have stolen from a movie and made my own more than any other.  It really came down to this one:

"The donger need food!" - Long Duck Dong, Sixteen Candles

Damn... I use that one at least once a week.  That's over 500 times my wife has heard that.  That's over 500 times she's rolled here eyes and said "whatever dave".

So... what is your favorite "I have made this quote mine" movie quote?  You have to use it frequently in real life.

Mine has to be a quote from an obsure movie called "Club Paradise"...an oldie with alot of the old SCTV cast and also starring Robin Williams...one of my all time favourite films:

Whenever I am about to leave somewhere with my wife or a friend I will always say:

"Let's Roll Noel"

Quoted by the American Hotel magnate while playing Polo.

Obsure quote from an obsure film...but one that I use almost everyday...dunno why, it just struck me as funny in the film and it stuck with me.

Apoclypse Now.

"I love the smell of Napalm in the morning"

..this has been bastardized by me; as I used to have a guy I worked with that used after-shave. Apparently he got quantity lot discounts, because the sucker reeked of the toejam when he came in.. at which point I would invariably greet his sorry bellybutton with:

"I love the smell of an amazinhunk in the morning"

All of this but being a futher outgrowth of my cat's morning grooming habits; many are the times I've remarked to the critter whilst it has it's own head shoved under it's tail giving itself a severe tounge-lashing:

CAT: "I love the smell of my amazinhunk in the morning"
The price of Freedom is the willingness to do sudden battle, anywhere, any time and with utter recklessness...

...at home, or abroad.

Since my nose is on the more larger size, I used to get a lot of remarks on school about it. Then I saw the movie Roxanne (kinda modern remake of Cyrano de Bergerac) and Steve Martin bet someone to make 20 better big nose jokes and he did... Still can Quote 10+ of those  :)

"I once had during a classic concert a request from the orchestrator to keep my head still since the orchestra kept changing tune and speed."

I'm going to butcher Harvey Corman's line from the movie, but it's my all time favorite quote so....

 From "Blazing Saddles"

Harvey Corman - "My mind is bristeling like a cosmic mystical (insert more psychadelic words)

Slim Pickens - "Yeah, mine too"

I know i phucked up Harvey's line, but if you've seen it you know how funny that scene was.

Though I don't think it's an all-time great quote, I find that I'm always quoting the Emperor from Return of the Jedi.

"You want this... don't you?" as he slyly beckons Luke to attack him by patting the lightsabre.

I usually say it to my wife when she wants the remote control... or other things.

Quote
"What would you have me do?
Search out some powerful patronage, and be
Like crawling ivy to a tree?
No thank you. Dedicate, like all the others
Verses to plutocrats, while caution smothers
Whatever might offend my lord and master?
No thank you...Labouring to write a line of
such good breeding Its only fault is that it's not
worth reading? To ingratiate myself, abject
with fear, And fawn and flatter to avoid a sneer?
No thank you, no thank you, and again,
no thank you."

Edmond Rostand
Cyrano de Bergerac, 1897

Ok, it's from the play, but it's also a movie, isn't it?  ;)

"Hold out your bowl." and "Fire is you friend."

I love that part of the Monster's encounter with a bearded, blind, clumsy hermit (Gene Hackman). He spills hot soup in the creature's lap, accidently breaks their wine mugs during a toast, and lights the monster's thumb instead of his cigar.

And I can't forget Teri Garr..(What knockers!)
"Vould you like a roll in zhe hay?"
