Perry Dahl the pilot ended the war with 9 kills. I painted three on the side to match the photo at the time it was taken though.

Looks cool except for the caricature of the Native American, that's just as offensive to me as the swastika.

Well i believe this comment is directed toward me. So here i go. I myself dont mind the noseart. If i flew back in the day, i would have had a noseart just like that except, the indian would be humpin away at a nice lil blonde.... ha ha ha!! and my plane would be called the "Naugthy Navajo!" trying to pollute that "pure" gene pool.

As for the stereotyping part, i wouldnt use all the feathers and the big noses. I say save the big noses for the eastern indians..

Sorry Chimp but that comment just might be over your head. I said that the caricature of the Native American is as offensive as the swastika, meaning that the caricature is offensive and the swastika is offensive. If we can have the caricature then why can't we have the swastika? Both are historically correct. Just my opinion.

Either way I don't really want to cause a fuss, I think the skin is a fantastic piece of work I just wish there was different nose art.

don't get all politically correct on me. if they don't accept this skin because I spent a whole evening painstakingly recreating the nose art of the real plane I will not bother resubmitting it.

Because the carcicature is legal. The swastika is illegal in Germany. Since this game is multi-country, the legalities of each country have to be attempted to be followed to the best of HiTech's ability.
If swasitkas were not illegal, then we would see them as well. It has nothing to do with offensiveness.

I swear, this politcally correct stuff has gotten out of hand. It's amazing how it's still somehow ok to call me a commie though..... argh...
