In a bizarre twist of 'look im wrong', it was confirmed today that an Australian has been captured in Afghanistan. He was fighting for the Taliban and had extensive training in Al-Qaidar terrorist camps.
The attorney-general said this morning that he had been training for far longer than the American we were talking about last week. It appears that the man is a lot higher in the ranks. Sorry, I dont have a link to any article.
This just goes to show that I was wrong. My idea is that he should not come back to Australia for a trial, but be sent to New York and released in bright yellow clothing with the words 'I helped blow up American citizens' written on it. I doubt it would happen, but if he survives then he can be sent home here and we can cage him up and amuse ourselves throwing rocks and sticks etc.
