Yaw in Tailless aircraft?
« on: August 17, 2005, 10:24:20 PM »
In tailless, flying wing configurations -- like the B2 or the Go229 -- can pilots generate yaw? Or, do they have to roll and use elevators?

On a B2 the ailerons are constructed in a manner that allows them to split open to create drag for yaw control.
