I'm sure that someone here will speak about just how smart the missiles were back during the Vietnam war. I'm told that they weren't nearly as smart as today's missiles.

If HTC adds a B29 before adding 25 other badly-needed planes, then they have their priorities WAY outta whack.

Stop asking for the uber bomber b29. Just fly the current uber bomber B24. Hell it has better defenses.

Arent you guys a little worried that the B-29 would throw the play balance off? I mean, as it is there's a pretty equal fight between buffs and fighters, given that both know how to use their tools against each other. The damage totals needed to take down structures and strats are in proportion to payloads.

Even as a perk ride, the 29 could seriously disrupt gameplay in favor of the buffs. It carried 50% more bombload, at speeds 25% faster and alts 17% higher (above the 30k mark). It would be fast enough to make "scramble to intercept" impractical if not impossible, given our radar limitations and the absence of early warnning systems. It carried 20% more 50 cals and a tail 20mm.

It is far enouhg ahead of the rest of the MA that adding it could require reworking of pounds-ord-to-kill all over. It could shift the entire game focus to buff hunting, with the price for failure to do so being loss of bases (either as functionality or as territory).

And it WOULD be very common, regardless of price. Anybody who's been playing long likely has a stockpile of perks, and that's without there beig a juicy incentive to GET bomber perks in the first place.

It's a great plane, but I fear it might be bad for the game.

Title - no news is really bad news.

Skuzzy says news is being posted on the front page of the WEB site now. "Now" is mid-day on the 20th of Aug 2005.

I went to the front page of the web site using the link at the bottom of the forums list, and there is nothing there on the front page dated after 12 Aug 2005. The last news release is something about a new TOD section and forum, dated 12 Aug.

So I've asked a simple question twice and gotten either ignored, or received a smartass answer. It's damned obvious I can't find this news release posted on the front page of the WEB site. So, once again...

WHERE IS THE NEWS THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE POSTED ON THE FRONT PAGE OF THE WEB SITE, BECAUSE I CAN'T FIND IT.

If it's not important enough to post where skuzzy said it was posted, and not important enough to say where it's actually posted, then maybe the whole thing is just a waste of time.

You checked for news on the B29 on the front page.

There was/ is "No News" about the B29 on the front page

title of the thread is

"No News is Bad news"

"No News" on the B29 is "Bad News" on the B29 =No B29

Get it now?
