That Nilsen Dog thing looks disturbingly like the 1978 remake of Invasion of the Bodysnatchers! You know the bit where the tramp and his dog get mixed up.

Oh yea. Outstanding show.

One of those I keep expecting to hear they are doing a movie of.
But we dont have those kind of actors anymore.

Richard Boone was perfect in that role.
He had that certain mystique about him that made him a perfect fit.

And too few actors have that these days. And none that I can think of today that would fit the role well

Might be a  great breakout role for an unknown though if they can find the right guy
