It`s 103 degrees with a heat index of 106 here now. No rain or break in sight.
Usaly in prolonged circumstances like this there are power outages if it continues for any length of time.
Can someone UPS some rain please?

I tried grits fairly recently. Sort of like creamed corn. Not something to rave about though...that's for sure.

I cannot stand grits. Ewwwww! I thought only people with no teeth ate,..er,..consumed,...geez, I cannot even come up with a word for putting that stuff in yer mouth (gag, gag, puke!).

SkyD, typical Texas weather in August. It has actually been a pretty mild August until the last few days. Now it is starting to look like Texas weather.

Yep,..transformers are going to be blowing out soon. Been a while since we had this kind of heat. Last year was incredibly mild.
