Are the sattelites better than the solar power stations? Or just different? Do you need the sattelite power sources? Or is that just a waste of resources?

In the beginning solar satellites just take up space. They cost 2,000 crystals and 500 Deut. And each one provides 50 energy units. After awhile they are better because they are cheaper. But since it costs alot to research computer tech. and expand the available space for more ships, they arnt to great in the beginning.

If you like this game you should check out the 1602 A.D. game.Its fairly much the same but on 1 planet.Up to 4 other countries and you can create maps.Its old ships as in new world stuff but alot of fun.

I got hooked on this sort of stuff playing Origin's "Privateer" years ago. Of course it was real action, not just browser based, but it was tons of fun.
