engine controls on bombers

I know we can control individual engines and prop feathering --how about a little fire control on the engine thats burning? --i really hate losing a bomber when the wing or plane explodes because u cant pull an extinghisher  (dang it need spell check too)

or better yet, engines and fuel not catching fire at high altitudes.

You mean bombers can fly at high altitudes??

Wow I thought 10 K was the absolute max.

then again I have seen them higher once or twice

it is the cloud level. only good bombadiers can see through it.

Right now I pretty much put a bomber on auto-pilot and clean the house until I am at the target. Making me manage the engines would be something interesting to do.

Heh yeah spending your time managing 4 engines for overheat, mixtures etc. while doing bombing run and controlling defensive armament under attack of enemies..

Sounds like fun - for a person with 8 hands.

Yes some of us do go Higher than 10K but your B24 will almost stop climbing when you get to 26500... :D
