I have to say that I dont think the US News media does a very good job of acknowledging offers of help from other countries, that does come in. I know that Canada has offered a variety of things to the US including specialist SAR teams, that occording to our local news, are still waiting for the green light from the US Homeland Sec Dept.

I have watched extensive coverage on CNN, CBS, and CNBC, and they simply don't mention it as a topic.
