Just a reminder that while folks are in crisis, the world moves on and history records.

On September 2, 1945 on the deck of BB-63 the USS Missouri, the Empire of Japan formally surrendered to Gen. MacArthur and Adm. Nimitz at 9:02am, ending what was perhaps the greatest struggle we will ever know.  May we never forget.
