Help cant play main arena...!!

I cant seem to play the main arena or H2H..When I click either of them it takes me to somesort of downloading screen and says:

Time Remaining:Time Remaining
Total Time:Total Time
Bytes Per Sec:Total Time


Then theres a bar under it and under that it says Cancel and Continue later,When I click either of them,in a matter of 5 minutes it says "Host Connection Lost".Then it kicks me back to my desktop..Please someone help me on this problem I REALLY wanna play!!

I assume you are downloading the game and not running the game after it has been installed, as those prompts sound like the Windows dialog box.

Make sure you have any anti-virus software disabled during the download as it can interfere with it.

don't hit either button on the bottom and just give it a sec. to start downloading the map. (thats what it sounds like it's trying to do)
and are you on dial-up? it'll take longer to get any response so just wait for it
