Ranking for post

I was just thinking that since this is a war game,  It might be cool to have ranks for number of post instead of having  "junor member"  senior member".  

Have them as  "Private"  "corporal" "lieutenant" " Captian"  so on and so on.    maybe with stripes on the side or stars ya know?   Sure would look cool

I personnally would go by date joined. It's to easy to type dumb stuff to get your post count up, just look at me.

Man-o-man ,...Way to be open minded guys and think of the negitive part of most everything gezzzzzz   Stop it!.   Like all you senior members never waste space just to tack up ..one more post..  gezzz mon!  

 I was not thinking for that type of ranking,    It would not be for dork milk runner posters/post pigs.   Like there is already.

It would be a Novelity !!!!     Hell half you would already be in retirement status.   Slow down boys and think in the area of fun!   Not for attacking a idea to add some life to these BB's,  It would be For a  NOVELITY!   <------- N O V E L I T Y....    LOL   Now relax   and  stop it!      

Besides 90% of post are BS and cause more bs posts.   So  you have a high rank under your name  , may just mean your a blow hard       Then again, some of you may be contributing something worth reading to the BB's.  

It may encourage more people to post stuff worthy of posting, In Forum areas like  ideas, testing, help, bugs, oc, and all the other forums.      Man..... stop the bad karma you guys... your bringing down the positive rayz... man

It goes by number of post now to get to senior member, not time started,  a person could have started 3 years ago and still not post one thing worth reading, you know what im saying  eh?

Heh it would actually be fun if people could give points to posts -> accumulating rank to the poster.

Really popular posters would be admirals and unpopular ones would get toilet duty.

they do that on the wings-of-valor site, its kinda nice, i dont think posts should be counted, would make ppl actualy try to put some content into what they write, most threads have about as much content as a glamor mag.

with TOD coming out, i heard that your game rank would be posted with your avitar, maybe this idea wont pull through to final version, but i think making post numbers count for rank would just complicate things.

I'd actually like to see the BBS "ranking" be tied in with the player's performance in the MA rather than TOD.  

Tags could show anything from "base stealer" to "P-51 Ace" to "Cherry Picker" or "Vulch Dweeb."

Now that would be pretty neat to have. If HTC could implement that (if possible). it would be extra fun to come to the forums everyday and see what everyone's avatard changed to

Reminds me of when I figured out 100 was the magic number and jacked the last 5 posts up on the board to earn that high distinction!
