Its called the bendy staw mod, although I use large gauge aquarium tubing, and ultra reflective automotive tape stuff (you get more than ordering it from natural point)

I use superglue and rubber cement to attatch the tubing tot he metal clip....the superglue softens the surface of the tubing and the rubber cement then holds firm. This little mod helps the TIR Vector not get 'lost' as easily in the vertical axis.
