Yep this is very old. I remember seeing this video in 1981 as a private in the airforce. (pretty sure thats the one anyway).

He did live IIRC. Broke his collarbone though I think (and probably requisitioned a new pair of shorts as well).

was on the USS Nimitz...actually saw a new guy get eaten by an A-7 Corsair...the guy who was watching out for him...went over to the catwalk with his head in his hands for several hours.....never saw him up there again....

Had a guy in my squadron that never ever went out on the flight line, turns out that shortly before I got there he was out during a maintenance engine start and got sucked into the intake of an F-14. His tool belt got caught on the de-icing probe and he was stuck with his feet flopping around inches from the fan blades. What was bad was nobody noticed him missing and he was in there for over 5 minutes screaming bloody murder till they shut the engine down.

Boy jes wadnt rite aftur that.
