I live in Fort Worth, TX and every year go to the Nascar Race, I always end up renting an RV and staying all weekend and not even trying to leave on Sunday night, its not worth the fight, plus the cops pull over every other car that leaves right after the race, must be a huge money maker for the TX highway patrol lol

You're too late for Texas bro...too many of the kalifornians came here already and have darn near ruined her with their "progressiveness".

When actually I could spend that same day standing on a muddy grass bank in the peeing rain watching 10 secs of bikes go past on the 200 yds of track I choose to watch, put my wellies on to go to the bathroom while taking a fresh copy of the Sun with me because there sure as hell won't be any toilet roll, and go back to my now blocked in car in a gress field and wait 2 hours to get out of the circuit.

Sky I've done my share of the UK circuits. Worked for 3 years on club level race cars (BRSCC etc) every summer weekend at every cicuit in the country (except Knockhill) - please don't try to educate me on the UK racing scene.

This was a light hearted look at my first experience of NASCAR live and that was all.  You insisted on bringing the "UK is better" theme into it and trust me - we lose on this one.  If we can ever get ASCAR in the media at places like Rockingham then maybe the UK motorsport industry will look up.

If we can talk Sparks into staying and can get him signed up for citizenship real quick, can we get him in the next presidential race? :rofl
Proud you had such a good adventure while you were here. NASCAR has done a lot for pro racing.
Wish you had the time while you were here to experience a World Of Outlaws sprint car event.

I suspected that Texas was on the way down the tubes socialist wise...  Still... compared to Kalifornia...  I would never live long enough to see Texas get as bad as Kalifornia.
