On a related note, I heard Voss got a job offer from Infinium Labs.

Voss would never claim he is Voss.

I am Spartacus.
... missions were to be met by the commitment of alerted swarms of fighters, composed of Me 109's and Fw 190's, that were strategically based to protect industrial installations. The inferior capabilities of these fighters against the Mosquitoes made this a hopeless and uneconomical effort. 1.JD KTB

He didnt so much claim, he got insulted into it...

This guy was whining about beta testing, getting hit from 1000, on and on, etc, etc, arguing with everybody -- and so I typed

"LISTEN CAREFULLY:

IT WORKS THE SAME FOR YOU. QUIET AND GO KILL SOMETHING."

He then ranted about how we were a bunch of newbs, and somebody said "who is this guy?"

I jokingly said "maybe he's Voss" -- and he flashed back "I am Voss" SOmebody said, "Voss would never come back under his own name", went on 200 to tell others....

But this guy then completely, 100% shut up (which was out of the character he had so far shown).

As a 18month newbie, i never knew Voss -- but I wondered after this jerk got so quiet so immediately. It almost seemed like he was goaded, blew up, and then couldnt beleive he let it out.

Would it be in his character to come back with an old secondarty name assuming nobody woul dbe smart enough to make the connection? Would anyone else pick that name? I sure dont know.

I'd not be surprised if Voss came back, but I'd guess he'd assume a new identity and be very quiet about it. Given all the bbs chatter and voss-isms lately, I'd not be the least bit surprised if someone dug up an old ID to use for a gag.

ps: I'm the real Spartacus.
