In regards to any of the spits being "too uber" due to higher boosts or whatever else; anyone remember all the fuss about the Ki-84? Let's get the planes before we freak out about them.

Why would they get rid of the G-10. or any other plane for that matter.

I can see adding more planes but removing planes makes no sense to me.

The G-10 is gone because it is actually a K-4 as modeled and they are adding the K-4 true (I bet).  I'd expect to see a K-14 to fill the gap between the G-6 and K-4.  Frankly, I'd rather see the G-10 retuned to typical G-10 performance (425mph or so) and have the G-14 added as a gap filler between the G-6 and G-10 while capping it off with the K-4.

Typo Karnak, they add G14 to fill the gap, not K-14 ;)

This is all speculations as of yet though isn't it? The G10 will be removed, Pyro has said that much but there haven't really been any word on what will come in its place.

Probarble guesses would be as Karnak has typed.

The Differnece between a K4 and AH G10 Viper is that the K4 came standard equiped with a 30mm Mk 108 hub cannon. It didn't use 20mm option.

As for AH it was named G10 in order to enable a 20mm option too.

Rather than think of it as removing the G10 think of it as renaming the current model. Like they did for the D30/D40.
