Thank you from taking us from being a debtor nation, to having a Trillion dollar surplus, negating 12 years of Reaganomics, and leading the country through the largest economic boom in world history.

PSST, XX, if you study economics, you'll find out that laws passed in 1985-1990 made that possible, when Clinton was  NOT in office. Mr.Greenspan was responsible, a Reagan appointee

hehe, you honestly think the president has any control over that, xx?  Thank Mr. Greenspan and the natural ebb and flow of the economy cycle.  Takes YEARS for presidential actions to take effect.  Plus congress has to approve anything he puts forward how bout thanking them to.  Much more to this then slick willie.

I can remember how much that debt went down from 92-94   when the dems had both houses and the executive branch.  Funny how the real change happened after '94

And here's a personal opinion of mine. Just about the only thing a government can do to help an economy is get out of it's way.  If you ask me the public is responsable for this economy, we're the ones waking up every morning and going out there and PRODUCING the revenue the government so graciously takes.

WOOOOHOOOO only 6 more months of him!!!!!!!!

And instead is a Kill Em All Let God Sort 'Em Out xian nut who will ruin the Supreme Court.

Would simplify my plans to invade the US greatly.

Politicians. We have ours, but yours are worse. With all your guns, you still haven't managed to kill them. You, Americans, are indeed a sad people.

In our system, you don't vote FOR someone, you vote AGAINST someone.

Yeah, I wish the Republicans had a guy of a little more substance and vision (there's that "vision thing" again!) than little George.

But I'm not voting FOR George...I'm voting AGAINST Al.

Funny system, but we seem to muddle through OK.

I personally think the whole political system is corrupt, therefore I vote the issues, and try to vote for (IMO) the lesser of the two evils.

I've been into polotics since '92, watch, read and listen almost EVERY day in that time.

I firmly believe that 3/4 of our government on both sides are using the ole divide and conquer rule.  They keep us arguing with ourselves about PETTY insignifigant (sp?) issues and it keeps us from seeing the real damage they are doing and keeps them in power.  They, the congress, sold us out long ago.  They delegate their athority to agencies like O.S.H.A., E.P.A., and other beaurocratic agencies who make laws that we have to obey, that weren't even DEBATED! (that pisses me off most of all)

The congress does this because they know that if they have the realy hard votes that NEED to be voted on, they would probobly lose their seats in the next election. So it's easier to let some agencie make the law and wash their hands of it.  The executive branch get's to sit back and look presidential.

$0.35 or there abouts is the amount of each tax dollar that actualy gets spent where it's supposed to be spent.  Where's the money goin?  Looks to me like I'm getting ripped off.  Know what I do to somebody who comes in my house and robs me?    With the big G I have no choice.  They get more and more and I/we are supposed to do with less. If I say NO MORE and stop paying they put me in jail with MURDERERS and RAPIST and generaly EVIL mother f___er's.

Hmmmm  yeah that's liberty yeah, that's what the founding fathers had in mind, to escape from.

sorry for the diatribe I got set off

Speakin of taxes, which are horrendous, lets start a flat tax debate.  It seems like a good idea but I'm really not educated on it.  Lets discuss.
