Maybe if we continue to pollute the oceans and atmosphere, hurricanes won't work anymore!!

So it was newspapers, radio and television who's to blame because evacuation plans sucked big time and barriers failed? Right :D

Paul Trotter, a New Orleans native, a survivor of Betsy,  employed at the NWS in Slidell wrote that warning. He hasn't been censured but lauded for his attempt to get the message out.

They are pros. The 48 hour track was only 15 miles off.
I have a *hearty* magnolia tree in my front yard. One large branch was twisted off, twisted like a stubborn sapling - around and around till it snapped. The tree was entirely defoliated. Leaves were pushed under the weather stripping of my door, and created a pile of confetti consistency leaves in my foyer. My locked garage door was torn off and is nowhere to be found - not a piece - nothing - its just gone.
