Well, finally got everything running...

I had a couple problems though; had to drill the powersupply to be able to secure it to the case, I had to rewire the temp sensor for the case (has a nice read out in front) to the CPU as the CPU pins are too close together for the wire to run between them, and I threw in some lighted fans for ambiance.

Runs real nice... everything on in AH at max resolution and I still get 70-140 frames. Flying close to Corky yesterday, I could see the reflected aluminum on the sides of the engine on his 38 (the areas to see the nose wheel). Sweet! :aok

I still have two questions though... I have 7 fans... 1 top, 2 front, 2 side and 2 rear. All but the two fans in the rear are blowing in, but shouldn't the top fan blow out as well?

Lastly, the first time I went into AH2 offline the drones moved 3x as fast as they should... hasn't happened again and it hasn't happened offline.

CFM in should = CFM out - if they are all the same fans (same speeds)  # in = #out!

i got 4 exhaust fans....and 3 intake. my case wasn't cut for a top fan, so i cut it. the only problem is when i set the fan to blow out i'm still pulling air in past it, so i set it to blow in, toward the chipset, and dropped my temps by around 15 deg. f.
it doesn't really matter if it's blowing in if you're moving enough air in and out per minute, in mine it just helped the circulation(got rid of a dead air spot behind my p.s.)

If you want to keep the dust out, more should blow in than out.

Del, if you start having the lockup troubles again, I figured out how to fix them. Check "Wave In" under Voice setup so that Windows handles VOX instead of AH. Causes a jitter after each transmission, but stops the lockups.
