video problem
« on: September 18, 2005, 04:06:48 PM »
I just installed ah205.exe and when I try to put in my video configuration, I get "Windows has performed an invalid page fault" and it crashes to the desktop.

Also, there is nothing listed in the drop down box for what resolution I want to run.

AMD 1.3 cpu 512mb ram Nvidia GeForce3 Ti200 ver 61.76 drivers DirectX 9.0c

Besides "buy a new (real) PC", any ideas?

reinstall your video card drivers.  Aparently the video drivers are curropted that AH will not detect it.  Makesure U uninstall the drivers first before reloading them.

BTW. if U using WinXP U should be using 61.77.  If Using win98/ME then 61.76.

If still doesn't work, do a dxdiag.exe in the start/run box and see if U have any errors.  If u got errors then reinstall directx.
