I went and watched the L.A. Kings last night. They played the Ducks.

Lots of rules changes. Should be an interesting season.

1. Goal line moved back 2 feet.
2. Blue lines moved towards red two feet.
3. Red lines don't count for two-line pass.
4. No more tie games. Shootouts!

Hmmm... any other changes that I forgot?

This is huge-

Goaltenders cannot handle the puck behind the goal line, except in a restricted area.

Devils just lost a sudo defensemen ...

i like the new rules but im still pissed about last year

bruins ticket prices either didnt change or were reduced for the absolute worst seats in the house.

i hope the nhl gets 3000 fans a night for a season so they understand what it feels like not to be cared about.

There's a soft offsides now, but it's still offsides. I'm not sure how a player can cherry pick if they have to tag up on the blue line.

not quite marty will be fine, the trapozoid is quite large, can still stop it behind net and fire it up ice. just cant go into the corners to get it. your going to see defencemen get slaughterd in the corners with soft dump ins.
going to be interesting to see how they interpt the goalie stopping play on a shot.

Go Devils

It wasn't goon tactics that beat our tulips last season, it was (gawdamn) Belfour and lack of heart.
