P.S. Note: Orig image was shot with the sun right above the vertical stab on the 47. Desaturated in PS, added contrast big time, little motion blur and lighting effects.

I only don't like it because it's washed out too much. Other than that the composition is pretty good.

I see what you're up against. Did you take the screenshot from the film viewer?

Is there anyway to rotate around the p47 so that it's on the left side and the p38 is on the right (so that the sun is no longer right there)?

It was from the film viewer. Wasn't a way around it for the most part - not without knocking out the bullt streams from the fov.
